About Intima

Sabrina Stroppetti is the founder of Intima; a virtual sexual health private practice clinic that is aimed to help your most intimate needs. As a trained and licensed sexologist, she supports individuals, couples, multi-person relationships and families in navigating intimacy, desire, and connection in a way that feels safe, respectful, and empowering. Her work is rooted in a trauma-informed, holistic, and evidence-based approach, recognizing that each person’s relationship with their body and sexuality is unique. She provides a non-judgmental space where you can explore, heal, and reconnect with yourself and your relationships in alignment with your personal therapeutic goals.

What services do you offer?

You can book a meet your sexologist appointment, individual session and couples session. We offer our therapy services exclusively online. We also offer workshops and consulting on sexual harassment in the workforce, sexual health education and parenting online or in person.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment with out EMR system called Colib. Through Colib your personal information is handled in accordance with Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Quebec’s Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector. These laws require that your data be kept confidential, used only for appropriate care purposes, and protected with strong security measures. You have the right to access your information and request corrections at any time.

What can I expect during a therapy session?

You can expect a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where your goals and comfort guide the session. Together, we explore your experiences with intimacy and sexuality using a trauma-informed, holistic, and evidence-based approach to support healing, clarity, and connection.

What is the difference between Sexologist and Sex Therapist?

Sexologists hold a bachelor's or master's degree in sexology, or equivalent training recognized by the professional order. This training focuses on understanding sexual behaviour and development, as well as acquiring knowledge, skills, and attitudes aimed at improving, maintaining, or restoring sexual health.
Sexologists may work with individuals, couples, families, groups, or communities.

In Quebec, the title of sexologist is protected. All individuals using the title of sexologist must be registered with the Order OPSQ.

A Sex Therapist is a licensed mental health professional (e.g., psychologist, psychotherapist, social worker) who has additional specialized training in sexuality. The title Sex Therapist is not regulated in Quebec or Canada.

Are the services covered under private insurance?
